From an initial measured site survey, through to architectural elevations, general arrangement plans showing furniture layouts and detailed joinery drawings illustrating design intent, I can collaborate with architects and designers to produce the necessary AutoCAD drawings throughout the design process.
With an eye for proportion and composition, I thrive on finding solutions which are practical and aesthetically balanced. Circulation, ergonomics and anthropometrics are always top of mind when considering furniture layout and composition.
Practical joinery solutions
Designing joinery which meets the practical needs of the client is paramount. How many pairs of shoes do they need to store? Where will the children's sports equipment fit? I have experience of working closely with a variety of joinery companies and understand the nuances of possibilities of storage and developing drawings illustrating design intent which can be refined in collaboration with the maker.
